The missing Asana feature that is critical to Every Marketing Agency

Anyone involved in Marketing knows how dynamic the Marketing Industry is and how frequently tasks and what works changes. Managing these this change takes a powerful program. That’s why our agency at Brainspin chose Asana to manage our client’s marketing campaigns. But now that our agency has grown to ~20 clients, we have run into a huge need to be able to copy multiple tasks into multiple projects within a few simple steps.

Seems simple enough, right? Well, shockingly Asana and other similar task programs do not have this feature. For example, to copy 4 tasks into 4 clients projects is a 30+ step process. You have to select each task individually, copy the task, edit this copy and place it into project 2 and repeat process for each project. I think you get the point.

So when I read a great article about how to acquire backlinks and I want to create actionable tasks for all our projects, I’ve got to set aside an hour just to place them in a format I can track. That is not the fast paced dynamic process I am seeking for.

This issue was critical enough for us that I went out to evaluate similar programs like wrike, basecamp and workplace. After spending a few hours evaluating competing programs, I was stunned to find there is no program out there with this solution.

So, after all this frustration of trying to find a solution, and being a UX designer that I am. I decided to lend a hand to asana to illustrate just how easily this UX can be accomplished within 6 steps or less.

Asana, I am begging you. Please help me and other Marketing Agencies accomplish more and track faster by giving us this much needed feature of sharing tasks and actionable secrets across multiple projects.
